Drawing prompts for the classroom
For art class, warm-ups and early finishers: put a prompt on the projector with a big timer, print a worksheet for every student, or show the daily prompt on your class page. Free, family-friendly, nothing to sign up for.
On the projector
Classroom mode fills the screen with the prompt in big type, with the roll button and a timer big enough to read from the back of the room. Press the space bar to roll, tap a part to keep it, and Escape to leave.
Printable worksheets
Each worksheet has a name and date line, the prompt, and a big frame to draw in. Or print prompt cards to cut out and pull from a jar.
A prompt every day
The daily drawing prompt is the same for everyone. Paste a few lines into your class page or website and it shows there every day: the code is on the daily prompt page.
Send one to your class
On the generator, Share has Google Classroom and email, and every prompt has its own link, so the whole class can draw the same one at home.
Ways to use it
Five-minute warm-up
Project a Simple prompt, start the 5-minute timer, and everyone sketches before the main lesson.
Early finishers
Print a page of prompt cards, cut them out and keep them in a jar for whoever finishes first.
Build it together
In Scene mode, let the class vote on each part: keep the subject they like and roll again for a new place.
Friday challenge
Roll a Wild prompt with an art challenge, and put the drawings up on the wall.
Everything is family-friendly: random rolls never use the darker ideas, and there's nothing to sign up for and no ads. Questions or ideas for your class? [email protected]
